It's Friday again. What are we going to eat tomorrow? That's what always in my mind during Friday. as we always eat out every Saturday and Sunday. :)
Last week, I am so happy we found a "treasure".
Look at this place, you might think it's a art studio for kids. The answer is... Nope! It is a restaurant. And, this is the uniqueness of this western food restaurant in Jalan Lembah Permai, Tanjung Bunga. They will provide the kids with color pencils and let them draw on the paper. Frankly, I like this idea so much. Unfortunately, Liz does not share the same opinion with mummy. Hahaha......
So, what's this place? It's called "Blue Reef". How is the standard of the food?
What do you think. For me, this is so yummy! Really! Something unforgettable. It's Grilled Baramundi which come with tasty potatoes salad under it. Trust me! It might looks simple. But, it really taste wonderful! Thus, strongly recommended, if compared to the Battered Fish and Chips. No doubt, Fish and Chips has bigger portion. Want to have a look too?
That's the Battered Fish and Chips. It's a lot, right?
By the way, if you enjoyed eating chips. You might actually make an extra order for chips only once you have a bite on the chips. OMG! I missed the Grilled Baramundi so much! May be I will go again this weekend. Wow! All the rich and stuffing food. Looks like only the best diet pills can help. Hahaha......

My maid is coming
I am checking the news regarding the Indonesian maid issues closely. Finally, the Chinese paper announced that those who already paid and confirmed the employment can still get the maid. Wow! It's a blessing!
As the work permit for my current maid supposed to end on October. I just keep searching earlier. Then, I found one who worked in Singapore before. I am thinking at least she knows some English. That's important as I need her to understand my girl. As my girl know nothing about Bahasa Melayu. Current "kakak" is speaking English and Hokkien with her. So, I decided to end my current maid's permit earlier and confirmed this new maid at the end of May. Just in time! :)
And, I am further released this morning. As my agent told me my new maid is arriving on the 8th. Finally! Sigh. For the past days, I am quite worried even though I keep telling my mum it's going to be ok. Hahaha......
In my thought, "Gosh! The current maid is flying home on the 6th. I really cannot imagine if the new maid doesn't come in time." It's definitely not ok. Who is going to wash the clothes, clean the toilet, mop the floor and a lot more. Certainly not me! I guess this is also the answer for the other 5 in the family. Hahahaha......
And, I don't want the 2 maids, old and new to meet. Cause the old maid already very used to us. Talking with us with the tone as if she is the boss most of the time. LOL! So, better don't meet.Luckily, the old one go home on the 6th and the new one come on the 8th. Which also means there will only be one day without maid in the house. That's 7th. So good!
Everything just nice. Thanks a lot. Praised the Universe. :)

TVB -- Rosy Business
Other than busy sending my little princess to school, this is what the whole family did for the last few nights.
Fantastic! Very interesting! No boring part at all. Another rich family dispute. Sheren Tang once again showed her intelligence and toughness. Very strong character. Thus, extremely charismatic. And, Lai Yiu Cheung is the big surprise in this movie. Someone with lots of intelligent ideas too. And, they are good friends, great patners in many ways.
LOL! I wondered when is the 21 episode will come to me. As I am still waiting for my friend to complete the full series. Hehe......
So, never missed this “Rosy Business" if you are a fans of TVB drama series. :)

Wake up if you LOVE ME
It's Saturday again. Frankly, I appreciates Saturday so much now. Because I can sleep for longer hours. As even though I don't have to work 9 to 5 during weekdays, but I still have to wake up at 7.30am every morning since 2 weeks ago. Just to send my little precious to holiday program and also to school as she starts schooling on this coming Monday. LOL!
Only for my little princess. As I never successfully wake up early in the morning continuously for 1 whole week to go for a jog, even though I always wanted to. Frankly, people like me who sleep late and wake up late most of the time would rather take fat burners to loose weight than committing in daily exercise. Hehe......
Well, this time is not even for my own good. But, I have no compliant. I am very happy to wake up so early. As I feel great, really great for being a responsible mother. And, it's good to feel the tiredness of what hubby is feeling for every working days.
Is this the power of love? Hahaha.....
By the way, Saturday and Sunday are always good cause they are mostly family day. The 2 days where 3 of us always stick together and do all things together. So closed! I like it. :)
Happy Weekends!

You are what you Think
So fast, Today is already Friday. And, I had ordered a new series of subconscious mind tools. These tools are simple. Just some special music CDs which we are supposed to play everyday to empower our full potential. Selected topics according to individual needs.
This is my new interest. I believe that our subconscious is very powerful. Thus, it's worth to know more about the unknown part of our brain. And, It all started from knowing the Shichida Method. Understanding the right brain training and development. Also, as I finished reading the book "The Secret".
About "The Secret"......
It is so popular. May be because everybody is desperate in improving our lives or expecting miracles. If compared to the book, I prefered the "Daily Teachings". Most simplified! Rich in contents! Easier to digest!
Well, it's kind of spiritual to me. In conclusion, it's the secret of how to truly become the master of your life. Live as what you want it to be. In short, "YOU ARE WHAT YOU THINK". Hehe......
Sounds too good to be true? I absolutely believe it's true. But, to know it, it's so easy. But, it's rather hard to practice all the things in it in our daily life. Well, at least we can improve. As for me, if today is better than yesterday, that's already incredible!
A highly Inspiring book.

Penang National Horse Show

This is the most handsome horse I saw among the breed displayed in the horse stable of the National Horse Show. As others seems upset. :(

Yeah... daddy, baby and I went to Penang Turf Club last Saturday for the National Horse Show. So do my aunt from Ipoh and my mum. And, that's all I've shot for the different horses breed. As cameras and camcorders are in every corners. I can hardly find a spot to focus. LOL!
Frankly, not my cup of tea. The only 2 horse carriages were so crowded. The weather was terribly hot. Nothing special. Thus, not really interesting. May be because I missed the horse jumping show. As most of my friends said that was impressive. And, I regretted I never look for the pony rides. Elizabeth will loves that!
Well, at least my little princess enjoyed observing the horses so closely. Should be a great adventure for her. She even enjoyed the clown and puppet show so much. Hehe......

Happy Belated Birthday

First, happy belated birthday to myself. Ha! It's yesterday. And, I went to the Home Deco fair yesterday. Quite tiring. So, I forget to take pictures for the food I took in the fine restaurant which I like its Caesar Salad so much. May be next time. I am sure I will go again. :)
Overall, it's just a simple day. Nothing special, except there is birthday cake and birthday song for me.
But, I am so touched to have my little girl sing the birthday song for me. Something new in my life. The restaurant has quite a warm environment too. I like it!
Anyway, the cake is too sweet. SR seems not as good as before anymore. :(
And, I got 2 "Ang Pau" and one cute small bottle of perfume from the elderly. So good! So big already still got "Ang Pau". Hahahaha...... But, nothing from him. He said:" You better choose yourself." So unromantic! LOL!
But, may be it's good for me. Can choose something more expensive! Hehe......

Dessert Rose in The Penang International Flowers Exhibition
Today, I am going to show you the Dessert Rose in the 2009 Penang International Flowers Exhibition.

So nice! These contestants are simple genius to me. Yeah... I am kind of an idiot in gardening. I know nothing about it. I just like to see flowers. Ha!
Well, dessert rose is rather common in Malaysia. I have 3 colors of its kind in my house. White, red and pink. Pink is always the easiest to blossom. And, purple should be the hardest. As if I know a lot. In fact, they are all fully maintain by my Indo maid. Hahahaha......
Flowers... These flowers give me a dream. Dreaming of living by the sea and have a garden which is full of fresh, beautiful flowers. That's why I choose Penang. But, one is never enough. There are so many other beautiful coasts and Islands. Oh... I wish I own a Wilmington NC real estate too. Another beautiful coast which might allow me to have different types of flowers in the garden from those I can have it here. LOL!
Of course, I would also like to owns a in the future.

Orchids from the 2009 Penang International Flowers Exhibition
I can feel that. June is definitely going to be a busy month. So busy for these 2 days. May be I just need some time to make adjustment. As I just started sending little Elizabeth to school every morning. Early in the morning. And, I have to wake up even earlier for the days I need to do marketing like today. Just by thinking of it, I already feel so tired. Ha!
Hey! Cheer up! It's holiday. Yeah...
So, we also went to Penang Botanical Garden just now for this year International Flowers Exhibition. Only my mum, little Elizabeth and I. We love all the extraordinary flowers.

Little Elizabeth said:" So nice, mummy!" Nice, right? It has more than just orchids. I will show you all the other beauties in the next 2 days. Promised! :P
And, after enjoyed watching these beautiful flowers. I suddenly feel so lucky to get a chance to send my girl to school everyday. Hahaha......
It's great to see those blossoming flowers. So do seeing my girl growing. Thanks God for letting me be beside her in every of her growing moments. That's a blessing! :P

The curious case of Benjamin Button
Last weekends, just spending a lot of time playing with my little girl with hubby. At last, my mum, hubby and I managed to enjoy a unique Drama called:" The curious case of Benjamin Button" just right before the weekend ended. :)
Can your recognized him? This is the famous handsome superstar -- Brad Pitt. But this time, absolutely not because of Brad Pitt. Born old, then grow younger and younger from time to time, until reaches the baby stage and die. I like the story. What should I say? It's so different. Kind of sad. But still attractive. :)
However, wondered why the writer could thought of the reverse process of birth and death. Well, don't care. As long as hubby still got long lists of life insurance lead, which means fantastic business, good money and good life for us all. Money! Money! Money! That's what worth thinking! Hahaha......

Paul Blart Mall Cop

A quite day. No good planning for the weekend. Makes me thinking of comedies. By the way, I would like to share with you the comedy "Paul Blart Mall Cop". My girl loves him so much. She actually feels so funny and keep laughing if she got a chance to watch this movie.
Paul Blart appeared to be very clumsy all the time. His wife walked away after cheating his money leaving his daughter with him. He is looking for partner again. So who would fall for this clumsy fat guy? Well, he did become the HERO of his daughter and the woman he loves eventually.
Simple, but kind of touching and enjoyable! :P

What's best for him?
Shopping! Shopping! Shopping! Mother's day is over, which means father's day is just around the corner. I am planning for a surprise for hubby. Hopefully, he has an enjoyable father's day.
So? Could it be a buffet dinner? Or more fish in the big aquarium? May be a slingbox. As I am trying to stop baby Elizabeth from watching TV now. To stop her from getting so addicted to TV, hubby and I actually sacrifice a lot of our TV time, especially hubby.
Slingbox might be the ultimate solution. If there is a slingbox at home, hubby can hide at one corner in the house to secretly watch TV programs through his laptop without my girl's information. And, I certainly benefited from this gift too. That sounds so good to me! LOL! Hahaha......
Anything else? I am still thinking. What about you? Mind to share some father's day plans. Hehe......

Happy Family
When I told my friends I am currently a SAHM. Mostly, they will continued:" With a maid at home?"
"Yes!"
"Then, you must be very free."
Gosh! why should I? I will only admit that I am living a hassle free life. At least, no pressure from the office or customers. No housework. And, I get to choose what I want to do everyday. However, that doesn't mean free or nothing to do. In fact, 24 hours is still no enough for me. LOL!
Why so busy? Busy playing, reading, dancing and singing with my little princess, reading for my own knwoledge, blogging, marketing, watching movies and so on. Wait a minute, Also busy taking care of the fish now.
Did I told you hubby actually bought a new big aquarium for himself on Mother's Day? Yeah... on Mother's Day itself. No surprises for me at all. Just some expensive ice cream for tea time upon request. So unthoughtful huh? Certainly. I am going to turn my back on him if he still did nothing special for my birthday. Hahahaha......
Well, this is the new aquarium that I am talking about. 3X bigger than the previous one. He will feed the fish and change the water. And, I like to pour in life water, anti chlorine, good bacteria and ice. Yes! If the weather is too hot, I will make a big bowl of ice cubes and pour them all in. Just for fun! Hehe......
Few days ago, my whole family actually using a cup and keep scooping up water and pouring it back into the aquarium just to keep the oxygen level high to sustain the life of these fish without the pump when there was out of electricity supply. Yeah... We forget to spare a battery operated pump. And, oklah. Not an annoying activity at all since there was nothing much we can do in the dark. Hahahaha......
I guess it's no more his aquarium. I think it's more to family hobby now. Ha! Anyway, When someone do something, everybody get involved and trying to help. That's family! And, I am grateful for always having great time with my family. :P
"How about another Chinwawa, mummy?" Err...... I think it's enough for mummy at the moment. May be later on? Hahaha......

Higher income with greater weight
Hubby was sick since Sunday. And, he just bring along the medicine and went off to work an hour ago. Thus, last night I watched news myself while he was sleeping. There was something interesting!
The news reported that a research actually showed that the income of the workforce has increases in accordance to the body weight. So? People who has greater body weight will gain higher income huh?
However, overweight is linked a lot of sickness. Thus, I guess no one will stop taking Anoretix after knowing this fact. Health is certainly more important than money, isn't it? Without health, we just can't fully enjoy life with the tons of money that we have, agree?
Well, I think this report actually reminds us that people tend to overeat when they have the spending power. Hahahaha......

Are you good in maths or music?
Recently, I am so into brain development. I read about Shichida method, and am going to have a look at the demo of blind fold study too. And, I have came across a methodology which manege to find out our talent, weakness and learning styles through reading all our 10 fingers print. So interesting!
In relation to this topic, I also learn something online.
"The longer your ring finger (Fourth finger if starts counting form the thumb) in comparison to your pointing finger, (second finger, also starts counting from the thumb) the more you are likely to have mathematical, mechanical and/or musical skills."
So if your kids have what it described above, may be you should give them the appropriate training and practice on these particular field. Otherwise, you might be wasting their inborn talent.

Hello Baby Birds
You must be curious where I got this shot. It's in my house. Always there will be birds building nest on the trees in my house. This time, I can hear there are little birds in the nest. Just right before they learn to fly. Lucky Elizabeth! She was so excited to see them.
Well, it's a special day for me too. I am just as excited. As this is also my first time to observe the new born baby birds so closely. Cherish this great new experience! Just as interesting as the breaking news of lipo-6 black. :)
At least not just about Swine flu all the time. LOL!

Sorry, Rat
There was this rat panting on the floor while I was waving goodbye to my mum last Thursday evening. It seems came out from no where. Most probably it was hiding under the wheels of my mum's car just now. As my mum moved the car, it get hurt. :(
I felt sorry for it. But still I have to throw it away somewhere near the bush nearby my house. As rat which live around the wastes and drains are dirty. Really not safe too keep it in the house.
"Sorry, rat." That's what flash over my thought at that very moment when I actually feel so sad to see a life panting in pain. Thus, I sweep it into a pail and leave it by the bush. This is the first time I get so close with a rat. Usually, I will runaway as fast as the lightning once I saw a rat.
You don't like rat, don't you?

Learn about ALS from Drama Series

Finished the whole series a few days ago. Quite a good story. No more fantasy! Nothing like the happy ending kind of Cinderella Story. No prince charming. Quite a painful and life like story.
For me, too sad! Tears dropped like falling rain for some of the painful part. They can't get together. She died because of a rare, painful, fatal disease which called ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis).
ALS - A fatal disease that is very torturing for patient's emotionally. Seeing their own self loosing their strength and ability to live progressively. Eventually living like a dead person with no movement on their own. But the cognitive ability remains. Painful! Something worst than mesothelioma. :(

How to practice Dharma
This is specially dedicated to everyone who missed yesterday's Star Newspaper.
"Dharma is the love, harmony, and the greater understanding that a wife and husband feel for each other. It is when there are fewer arguments between husband and wife, between cousins, between sisters and brothers, between children and their parents.
For example, if you have argument with your wife, stop thinking, "Why is my wife like that?" Instead, thinking, "Why do I react to my wife like that?" then let go and change ourselves."
So...
"Do you want to be spiritual? Buy flowers for your wife and take her out for a meal.Stop nagging your husband. Don't cheat on your husbands and wives,in any way. You want the greatest practice? The greatest practice is getting behind the steering wheel and taking your mother or father out to eat. You want the greatest mantra? The greatest mantra is "How are you mummy? How are you daddy? What can I do for you?" That is the greatest mantra at this moment for us.
We might never get anything for the rest of our lives, but what we do have now, we need to keep."
From H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche
Happy Wesak Day! :P

Indian Puppet Show
My girl quite enjoy this puppet show which I recorded while I had my vacation in India. May be you will like it too. Anyway, you will see them everywhere in India, especially in hotels. :)
May be it's time for my girl to enjoy an oversea trip. At least, she can get into the plane. Well, I have read in the newspaper that by June, AirAsia is going to have direct flight flying from Penang to Singapore. That's convenient. Hopefully the price is very attractive too. :)
I remembered Tang Dinasty and Haw Par Villa is quite an interesting place. She will definitely get a chance to expose to Chinese cultures. Well, may be Elizabeth will like Sentosa Island too.

This time is Micheal Jackson II
Well, Britain is really full of surprises! Watch this! It might just drive you crazy.
How about that? The Britain Talent Competition really drives me crazy. The question is... Can he sing like Micheal Jackson too? Or what's he is going to do next? Dance again? Or something more brilliant?
Anyway, can't wait to see your next surprise. All the best, Suleman Mirza! :P
