I'm a Little Vain
| You Are 49% Vain |
![]() You're a little vain, but more than anything you have a healthy amount of confidence. Thinking the world of yourself is great. Just don't think less of those who aren't as pretty as you! |
So, this is me! Only 49% vain. Quite balance ha? Pretty proud with this result. hehe.....
Every time I try out some tests, I'll published it. Just to share with those of you who are interested! This is something I get from Giddy Tiger. Decided to try it out just because I am too curious and dying to know that, am I vain? Whatever it is, I am pretty surprise with the answer. Ask me if I like this answer, I guess YES! At least, it states that I am confident. It's a compliment, isn't it? haha.......
But, when I really come to think of this topic seriously...... I am not vain enough, may be just because I am such a careful spender. ( Please ler, just admit it... not careful spender, Healy is a typical miser... haha) In fact, I am definitely vain, very vain as well. See, I put moisturizer on my face before I sleep... I'll always grab my sun glass whenever I go out during day time... Whenever I saw beautiful dresses, accessories and so on, I'll take a glance, then, another glance. haha... Also, my wardrobe is full, but, how come I still think I have not enough clothes? hehe... One more thing, one more thing, just prepared to laugh... Healy buy push-up bra all the time. hahaha....
So... Let's face the fact! All women are vain! Whoever agree with me, give me five! High five, please! hehe.......
Once again, how vain are you? :)
Enjoy your weekend, buddy! Then, come back here and tell me ,k?

If I have $ 1,000,000
Alright, this time is about $$$$$$$$. Interesting !!! haha... Nowadays, almost everyone of us have to "kow tow" to money. Thus, this topic become so interesting! :)
If you ask me what is money to me. My answer is simple. Money is our basic survival tool. Like it or not, we have to work, because we need money. To certain extend, money does an important role for our happiness. In other words, I do think money can buy happiness. May be money is not everything, but, this world does left us not much choice if we don't have money. And now, we are talking about 1 million...... Not few thousand, you know? It's 1 million,k? Big... very big amount. But wait a minute, why never state clearly? Is it in Ringgit or USD? If it's USD...... Waw... U Lah Lah! It's gonna be more interesting. hahaha........
So, Let's see what I'm gonna do with this 1 million......
Mmmm..... buy a house? Frankly, houses in Penang are quite expensive. A nice terrace can easily cost more than half a million. So, if I buy a house, may be all I left is gonna be less than 30% of the million. So, after buying a nice dream car like beetle or mini one, it's almost finished. The rest would served as a stand by fund for the rainy days. That's it! Everything finished. That's the end of the story. My life would still back to normal. Nothing change, just one house and one car. Does this sounds interesting to you? To me, that sounds terrible... 1 million might sounds so big, but end up, so few things can be done...
Can I still dream big, Anggie? ( Yeap! Anggie and the new parent pass me this tag.) At least something bigger than this? So........ Ladies and gentlemen, my final decision on how to spend the 1 million........
I am gonna build a business out of this 1 million. Carefully plan the whole thing. Make the business a great success. And get a chance to retire with a more satisfying amount. 5 million? Waw.... 10 million? Unbelievable...... At least, now I started to feel that life is so wonderful... Alright! hehe...
How about nothing. I end up with no money left. Meaning I fail in the business. Well, heartache of course, who's gonna be happy when they loose money? Yet, it's 1 million. Sure heartache. Such a miser like me, should be experiencing terrible heartache. Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! Can't breath anymore, so pain... hahaha. So... after the heartache relieved, I'll still go on with my life. Still living in the same house. Driving the same car. Going to work as usual. Just like that, I got nothing to lost in fact.
See, Mahathir can still eat Roti Canai; Loh Boon Siew will eat Lor Mai Kai as well. But, can I travel in first class every now and then as I wish? Frankly, I am not up to that standard yet! So, I got no choice but to squeeze in the economy class whenever I'm travelling overseas. So, life is not that interesting yet, right? :)
Thus, I still prefer to invest the money into business. Just to get one chance. 1 million to trade a dream life. To live in a life that we can only dream of by now. Travel in first class, staying in all suite hotels like Hilton, driving SLK , doing as much charity donation as I wish and so on. Also, I can buy all the great toys and books and dresses for my darling Elizabeth. And, don't have to worry about the cost of all her organic food. Waw... Really fun, man! So much fun!!! Don't you feel it? This is definitely something worth to dream about... :)
After all, we only live once. Healy's principle -- just live life to the fullest! Ah Ha!!! feel more excited for your life now? 1 million... 2 million... 3 million... 10 million... 100 million... Huh? *Healy's eyes suddenly open so big* Waw............
LOL! I sounds like a motivator now. haha........ And, out of the sudden, how come a SAHM become so ambitious??? Ya, how come? *Healy wondered and puzzled* But, not bad at all, sounds smart this time. Yes or No??? Smart, right? Or greedy? Allah... Whatever! ( LOL! Silly gal!)
hahahahahahaha..............

Midnight Hokkien Mee
Do you like Hokkien Mee? I just came back from "Hot Wok Restaurant" in Tanjong Tokong, Penang. For what? Supper of course! May it be I'm hungry or just a habit. Me and hubby got too much fat in our body, I guess. Thus, we always try to burn our midnight oil. haha... So, we might need some refill most of the time. And, since we did not take Hokkien Mee for already quite some time, why not have a bowl of Hokkien Mee tonight? That's why we end up in this midnight Hokkien Mee stall.
Hokkien Mee is one of the famous hawker food in Penang. And just curious, how do you considered it as a bowl of good Hokkien Mee? Is it something like this?
Looks delicious isn't it? Got lots of "siu bak"(BBQ pork) , eggs, and the prawn inside is big either. The soup is so red, thus, even the colors is so appealing. If you are so hungry in the middle of the night and yet wondering where to get a bowl of Hokkien Mee that full of fillings, here you go...... "Hot Wok Restaurant Hokkien Mee". Also, you gonna love it if you hate Ajinomotto. At least, this is something won't make us feel terribly thirsty after taking it. :)
However, to me...... The soup is too sweet. Even though is red, but is not hot at all. ( Nowadays most of the chilis in the market are hot, how come this is not hot at all? Funny, man!) Also to me... the taste of its soup would be my first criteria to be a bowl of good Hokkien Mee. I always go for taste, but I know some of you would rather choose lots of stuffing. Anyway, just take your time to think about it. Wanna try it? No? Mmm... the choice is yours.
However, if you are not that hurry, I would like to introduce you to Greenhouse Cafeteria in Burma Road. One of the famous Midnight Hokkien Mee in Penang. That's what I called " A bowl of delicious Hokkien Mee". ( I'll show you the Hokkien Mee there in one of these days, k? The most important thing is ....... Patient. Hahaha......)
I also tried the Chinese Yam Cake in this Hot Wok Restaurant too. This time good or bad? Good.......Yummy! The yam cake itself is so soft and smooth, yet the fried onion is just like our home made type that we could hardly found outside now. Mmm.....It's so delicious to have these fragrance and crispy bright gold onion rings all around the yam cake. There is another type of "cooked onion" in it. See the black color thing? That's it! Don't worry about this blacky, it certainly taste great! :)
So, are you hungry now? Still thinking of loosing weight? Why don't you just forget about it. What would life be if we can't taste all the good food around? hahaha........
*ouch*, Is someone trying to pinch me? Stop it! hahahaha...............

Our many Insurance Plans
I just top up my sum insured right after my baby Elizabeth was born. What is the plan that I chose? After getting some information about term life insurance, I'm seriously considering it. This is because term life insurance would allow me to get a large amount of coverage with a lower cost. But, I prefer those term life insurance policies that provide an option for us to convert it to permanent life insurance policies, just in case we are not satisfied with it.
Me and hubby, each of the insurance plan that we bought would served different purposes. Touch wood, if anything happened to daddy, he got plan that provide income for me and Elizabeth. There are also other plans for each of us to cover our loans, our major medical costs, Elizabeth's education and our retirement as well.
Frankly, I'm a very careful person. I will always worried about my retired life, my baby's education fund, our loans and our major medical costs. Also, It ain't easy at all for us to plan and save on our own for all the needs that I mentioned above, as there are so many "distractions" nowadays -- especially those big carnival sales. haha......
Thus, I need so many life insurance plans to secure my future. :)

This is How I Decorate My Dinning Table
Did I tell you I actually enjoy decorating my house? I don't like to put on make up. But, I like to do some make over on my house. However, I have to admit that my house is not well decorated yet! I don't rush, I take my own sweet time to collect those decorative items that I truly like. That would make the whole decoration become more meaningful, isn't it? Well, this means, my house is not ready to be a "Show House" Yet! (What? Blar for so long, yet go nothing to show? This lady really terrible , man!) hehe.....
Hey! Patient, my friend, patient.......
Didn't you see some pictures down there?
This pic was took in "Renaissance". (Remember? The cheapest five star in Bukit Bintang area that I stayed for 1 night when I was in KL?)
My photography skill really.....Mmm.... LOL! Sucks isn't it? Once I saw this decoration on the buffet breakfast table, my eyes just can't get away from it anymore. I wanna take a pic on it, I am going to set this up in my breakfast corner too...... That's what crossed my mind at that particular moment when I saw it.
What do you think? A few rows of nicely arranged green apples, using four glasses, each was filled with striking yellow daisy as the stands for this creative cosy yet modern "tray". And, we just have to place a piece of rectangular clear glass on top of the "design" to make it into a tray that we use to put some breads, the jam of our choice( strawberry, fruit cocktail, peanut butter...), or some hams and beacons on it.
So, like this? Will this make a better breakfast experience? For me, certainly YES!
How about time for some juices? Would these 2 shapy glasses become your choice of container for your icy yet tasty apple, carrot, orange or tomato juice? ( I like it because it has a nice shape yet not too slim or too small, can still fill up great amount of juice.) hehe..... (must be big enough, cups might beautiful but we after one or two sips, before we start to enjoy the drink, we suddenly found out that it's already empty... How about that? do you like that? That's not practical at all, isn't it?) :)
These stylish containers for condiments is nice. Look like glass, but certainly "unbreakable", yet very light in weight. Why? It's plastic! I especially favor the one for sugar syrup, which take the shape of a teapot. Such tiny little teapot, cute isn't it?
SO.... that's the end for my story. Hope you managed to get some ideas for the decorative items of your dinner table after reading this post, and find it useful.

Four 4 Four 4
I had seen so many blogs had done this tag. Now it's my turn. I've been tag by Anggie and lovely mummy on this All 4 About Me. Waw... It's seems I am getting more and more friends. One topic is tag by 2 buddies now.... Interesting! Looks like my blog are more happening now. Huray! It's great to have readers, especially for Rojak (Junk) writer like me! Thank you so much for all of you.... Thank You, Thank You..........(x 1000). :)
Oh Gosh! I almost forget about the All 4 About Me.Alright, here we go........
Four jobs I have had in my life:
1) Part time Cigarettes Promoter ( A lot of mummies is going to kill me for taking up this job, I am absolutely right, don't I? haha..... Why this job? Oh! You know... That time I still studying in college. So, some of my close friends offer me to join them. And still, the major attraction of this job, is the working hours versus its pay. Very good income for a college student ler... About RM 1200 to RM 1500 per month by just hanging around the kopitiam for 3 days, and only a few hours for each day.
So, forgive me ler... That time still young, and yet very actsy, wanna work and save my own money to travel oversea with my friends. haha... With this job, of course, I made it! To where? Only Hong Kong lah! When come to think of it, Always when we were young, things that we normally think is cool, mostly are silly!)
2) Skin Care Sales Representative ( Almost a year)
3) Part Time Nursary Assistant Tutor (Only for 1 or 2 months)
4) Full Time Home Tutor ( For 5 to 6 years, stop 1 month before Elizabeth was born)
Four places I have lived:
1) Alor Setar, Kedah ( I was born here)
2) Penang ( since 15 years old until now)
3) Kelana Jaya, PJ (while doing my foudation year in LICT, 1998)
( Sorry ya, I am such a homely baby, no matter where I go, I still miss Penang. Penang is really a very good place to stay. Don't feel like leaving it at all. So, until today, only 3 places)
Four Countries I have been to on vacation:
1) Hong Kong
2) Italy
3) Greece
4) Egypt
( I am going to make this column longer and longer in every new year, cause I love to go Holiday!)
Four of my favorite foods:
1) Breakfast -- Porridge ( See, if you caught me in the street, I might be one of the modern mum. So, don't you ever put me in the "Ah Mah" catogory just by knowing I like this Chinese traditional meal, k? This is just another very healthy choice of food, got it? hehe.....)
2) Lunch or Dinner -- Sashimi or Nasi Lemak
3) All kinds of Dessert, especially Cakes
4) Beverages -- Any Fruit Juice
( 4 is too little, even make it up to 10, also not enough for me! So, you people know now, YES! I just like to eat..... there's lots of food that I miss almost everyday! But, how come you only 44kg? Allah, This I got no idea too! haha....)
Four places I would rather be right now:
1) Italy or Florence
2) Austria or Vienna
3) Any Island with beautiful beach will do
4) Swirtzerland
Four friends I'm going to tag:
1) Shoppingmum
2) The New Parent
3) Dancing Queen
4) LB

Elizabeth's Play Ground
Elizabeth got her own playground now. Actually, I bought these colorful puzzles few months ago when Tesco is having it's baby fair. But, I only started to place her on it recently. Simply because she just learn how to sit properly. And, I'll always make sure she is surrounded with toys to play with, when ever she sit down in it. Without toys, is either she'll think of a way to destroy the puzzles or she would shout out loud signaling she needs some one to carry. hehe.....
However, I still prefer to put her in the play pan, while playing with toys. I felt is safer as she won't know herself on the floor. Yet, She enjoyed so much, when I started to play hide and seek with her by going up and down from her play pan. You should see how happy she was, when she's playing hide and seek! She loves hide and seek more than anything! :)
She has two play pans, one in my room, another one in the living hall ( which was borrowed from my SIL). And, I ain't buying any baby cot for her. Thanks to my SIL and some other friends, who strongly recommend play pan, rather than cot as a bed. And, they are absolutely right. I love play pan. At least, she has never knock herself in the play pan until today, even though she had fall many times from her sitting position to laying down on the bed . Thank Goodness!
This is the one I placed in my room. I am kind of lucky to get this play pan, It's like a mini Zoo, much attractive than her play ground, isn't it? :)
And, It's easy to move the play pan around. So, quite convenient, isn't it? And, if it's time Elizabeth can stand on her own two feet or walking around, I can still place her in the play pan in any emergency case, far better than leaving her alone in else where worrying that she might hurt herself when left alone.
Actually, play pan served many purposes. It has two level. When Elizabeth was still young (since born until now), we can tag in the upper level. It's a bed. And also, a play pan. When she was newly born, there is another corner, which we can place her in it for changing her diaper.Very convenient. Yet, I used to store a lot of her things in the play pan( under the bed).Sorry ya! Lazy mummy just dump everything inside without tidying up all the stuffs. Kind of mess! Er.... Excuse me, k? hehe......
Once she can stand up, I'll use the original level, which is deeper, deep enough for a baby to stand on.it's easy to store in any place after Elizabeth is not using it anymore. It can be unfix and placed in a bag, which only about the size of a golf bag. Save spacing in the storeroom. :)
This is what I mean by "deeper level". And, This is the one in the hall. look at this girl, got caught inside yet so happy! haha.... Nice girl, ya? :)

I Worth More than That!
I got this from Rinnah. I don't expect to worth this less. *Sob* *Sob*
A bit sad ler..... I shouldn't had done this test in the first place. Now, wanna price myself higher also cannot......How to survive until 80 years old with these cash? About thousand plus per month. Can't even afford a car. Can only rent a room, yet have to take nasi lemak everyday. OMG! Sounds so pitiful! I think even beggars are having a better life then this. haha....
Anyway, I still wondered how this test works, and, why this test was created? Do we need to price ourselves? We are not on sale don't we? However, is still quite fun, at least something for this boring Friday. :)
And also, this test does motivates me to start some hard work to increase my self worth. Hey! Don't laugh! I'm Serious, k! :)
Not bad! At least, I've learnt something. Thank you, Rinnah!

Elizabeth's New Clothes and Toys
Certainly, I am not coming back from KL empty handed. And, no matter where I go now, Elizabeth is always in my mind. And, If I went shopping, It's more on Elizabeth, rather than myself. And, really sorry for Daddy. I used to shop for him when there was no Elizabeth, but, ever since our little queen was born, he was left out! I should not practise this any more, there must be something for Daddy too. (Sometimes, Daddy is like another baby for me. Need lots of attention and cares too. )Oh...... I am sure you ladies know what I mean! :)
So, these are what I get for my little Elizabeth..........
Her first Life Jacket.......
She's always in the pool with her birthday suit. Since she already 7 months, I think must start to cover up her private part already! hehe.....
One new toy for her.....
Yes! A cute clown phone from fisher price. She certainly like telephone. She always wanna press the button on our real house phone. She would smile too, if I pick up and put the phone on her ears.... And, she was really happy too see this new toy. She loves toys nowadays. :)
Both toy and life jacket are from Toys "R" Us.
And, Some nice nice clothes again........... ( Mummy really crazy over buying clothes for her. hehe.....)
These is a sweet matching isn't it? A very ladylike white shirt with colorful prints on it (from Mothercare) match with the flowery white pant (from GAP). It has the "sunshine" feeling, like beach wear. So, it's really something very "Elizabeth". (I mean this is definitely the right style for this cheerful baby.)
BTW, did you realised there are socks beside? Colorful and cute, right? It's from Mothercare too. And, there are 3 pairs in one stack actually. :)
How about these spaghetti stripes? Sexy? Cute? I think with the pants, it's a perfect match! The tops are from Mothercare. (I like Mothercare, very good material.) How about the comfy pant with no button or zip....... That's from GAP. To me, GAP always got the best design for my little darling....... :)
Finally, one princess-like beautiful white dress from Strawberry for my little darling .......... However, it's too big for her( I like it because it's material is so soft and it's going to be very comfortable for my baby)...... Never mind, just keep it first! (There are still quite a number of clothes that I've kept for her because of the same old reason...... too big for now.) haha........ what a dump mummy! :)
You know what? I really like white color, most of the time you will see me wearing white pants with some bright colored top! That's my style...... I have white top, white cap, white luggage, white slipper, white high heels, and so on......... :)

8 Random Facts about Me
Another tag for me. This time is from Blur Mommy. And, luckily this is not a very tough homework. As I just came back from KL, got so many things to blog..... Somehow, I always choose to finish the tag first. Just in case I forget about it later on.....
So, what's the 8 random facts that I'm going to list out here? Mmm.... Let's see......
1) I came from a divorce family. My mum divorced my dad when I was not even 1 year old. However, I got a very capable and tough business woman to be my mother. So, I still enjoyed a very good life since young until now. Thus, I am quite a mummy's girl ........
2) Thus, to me, family always come first! And, I am someone who strongly believe in faith. So, more to the happy go lucky type.
3) I am in Hinduism since 8 years back, even though I am a Chinese.
4) I like cherries, more than anything. I used to buy 1 box (5kg) of cherries for every season. Such a careful spender like me, tends to spend few hundreds Ringgit on cherries... You can see how much I love cherries...... (Cherries, Cherries, I love you.........x2)
5) I am a very weak person. I get sick almost once a month since born until I'm about 20 years old. May be because of too much soft drink! :)
6) I am quite a health freak ever since Elizabeth was born. Taking fish oil, coconut oil, olive oil, reading materials on healthy diet every now and then, spending so much on organic food, and so on......However, the fact is, I do get healthier. Never get sick for the past 10 months..... For me is a miracle.
7) Also very shameful to tell that, I came from a family which drink soft drinks most of the time. My grandfather, my mum, me and brother, no water for us in the house. For the past 25 years, if I am at home and being offered with plain boiled water? No, thanks. There is always soft drinks in my kitchen. If not soft drinks, at least syrups like Ribena, or hot beverages like coffee or Milo. But, the coffee and Milo is only for my mum, my hubby (coffee) and my brother (Milo). Not for me. And, all these drinks are not meant for our guest, for the host instead. We do stand by mineral water. For who? For our health conscious visitors. haha.......
However, I drink a lot of water nowadays, just wanna to be a good example for Elizabeth. (Unfortunately, Elizabeth do not take water as well. She prefers syrup. So, I get the organic elderberry syrup and just mix a little bit into the water for her. In this case, she would drink more water. So, she left me no choice.) Also, you do saw on top, I'm such a health freak now! That's why I am drinking more and more water. haha.......
8) I like travelling so much. Travel in school trip to Singapore twice when I was 12 and 13. Then, joined group tour to Hong Kong and Shen Zhen with one of my friend when I was 21 and still single. After married? Hong Kong, Shen Zhen and Italy (2004), Greece (2005), Egypt (2006).
Now, it's the time to pass this tag on to.......
1) The New Parent
2) Aces family
3) lzmommy

Three Days in KL
Yes!Finally, I am back from Genting and KL. Really miss all the ladies and gentlemen here!
Last night, I reached home on 8pm. What's the first thing I did once my car was at the door step? I carry her, I hug her, I kiss her .....Yes! I carry, I kiss and I hug Elizabeth close and tight! :)
On Friday, I was really excited! Cause this is going to be my personal time with hubby. (Time without Elizabeth) Something I longed for since my baby girl was born. But, before I go, I got some work to do.
Firstly, I got to make sure these 3 days that I am away, Elizabeth is still getting enough supply of baby food. So, I went to the nearby Organic shop to stock up her food on Friday afternoon. (Yeah! Elizabeth is almost a pure organic baby. Simply because mummy is too worried about her health matters since she get allergic with milk once. (About 4 month ago).
These are thing that I stock up for her, her infant formula, her grain mix used to cook porridge, her fruit paste in jar, some vegetables including carrots, turnip and parsley.......... ( Too exaggerate is it? Act like I will be gone for months....LOL!)
What's next? The next thing I concerned is my hair, a bit Itchy! So, What did I do? I went to salon for hair wash, just to pampered myself a little bit as I am already in a holiday mood.....
Can't wait to be in KL! * Getting really excited* So, busy packing at Friday night instead of having fun. But, never mind...... Tomorrow is a real big day!
On Saturday morning, since it was the auspicious 07.07.07, We decided to make it more memorable. As a result, we departed on 7am. Straight all 7. Cool?
A shot of the Penang Bridge during our departure.
And, We supposed to reach Genting View Resort before 11.20am . So, we actually reached Genting View Resort exactly on 11.20am sharp! How about that? Do you call that "Amazing"? haha......
Without wasting any time, we walk straight into the corridor of the conference room. Since our stomach is still empty at this hour, we were served with some curry puffs and a cup of hot beverage before Danny started his talks. This is my first time get to see his presentation. Kind of excited! I always grumble that he should have bring me to see each and every of his talks, so, really glad he did this time. Yet, I gain a shopping trip too since it's carnival sales now. Quite nice, isn't it? :)
A few shots of Daddy while he was on his presentation........
After he finished this presentation and our lunch, we continued our journey to Genting Highland......
This 07.07.07 was really very special for both of us. When we were on our way to Genting, we heard some weird noise coming out from our car. So, we got to stop half way finding out one of its tyre were punctured! Huh? What a lucky day! So, what we going to do? There were no other ways except changing this punctured tyre to the spared tyre on our own.
Car break down still very happy as I get something to put on my blog though. So, keep snapping photos while daddy was changing the tyre. Haha.....
Finished? Yes! So, we continue our journey.......
Did we try our luck in Genting? Yeap! RM 100 as his capital thinking of may be we could win back one brand new "Parrelli" tyre, end up losing RM 20 in a few hours time by just playing the Spiderman machines. haha..... Is such a joke, isn't it? Whatever it is, we were just trying to have some fun here. Gambling or bating is definitely not our cup of tea. :)
We went down to KL city around 6.30pm after taking our dinner. End up marry-go-ground for about an hour to reach Bukit Bintang. Yes! We are not familiar with KL roads. But, it's OK. We reached KL city around 8pm. Just nice. After getting a hotel room, we can still have a nice bath and go out for supper. However, this is just what we thought! We did not make any reservation for our accommodation on that particular night yet. (He's really busy last week, so, I got no time to discuss with him on where to stay. But, I am already used to it. We always got this last minute stuff but, mostly it turns out quite well with a little bit of "surprises"! ) :)
So, this is what happened........
We did found a room in one of the hotel around Bukit Bintang. At what time? We check in at 11pm in one of the five star hotel in town -- Renaissance. What kind of room is that? It's the superior room in the executive floor. So, not bad at all, isn't it? We end up staying in a nice hotel with pool view room and having breakfast in the executive floor. Feel exclusive? Yes! Happy about the service? Yes! Is everything going great after all the nightmares? Nope!
Ladies and Gentlemen, proudly present to you -- Renaissance.
The center hall between West wing and East wing at the lobby
The Swimming Pool ( View from my hotel room)
The Club House in the Executive Floor
No picture for the room as I already mess up the bed by straight away jumped into the bed once I am in the room. And, straight away felt asleep without taking dinner.
We check out from Renaissance and check in to Cititel the next day after lunch. And, there is one moment that made me feel so satisfied, that's when we walk in to Madam Kuan's Cafe inside Midvalley for our lunch! This is our first time in this nice cafe. And, we decided to try it out since there was so crowed. Healy's dictionary -- A lot of customers means GOOD. Right? And, I really got a good dictionary.... It's fantastic! hehe.......
Especially the "Bojari Set" (the right pic), Mmm......Yummy!Yummy! (I really miss it's sambal prawns with onions, big prawns, sour and with a little bit of spicy taste, and fried chicken, the skin was so crunchy! Then, the rice with "lotus flower"-- one of the spice that we used to cook Laksa. Mmm..... fragrance! ) All the spices used or mixed were great! Something Irresistible for me!)
It's daddy's lunch -- nasi lemak. Only one comment, Good! :)
Then, we had our dinner quite late at Jalan Alor because of shopping, shopping, shopping.......However, I still prefer to shop in Penang. I think for those friends from KL, is advisable for you people to come down and shop in Penang during Carnival Sales. KL were so crowed even during weekdays. (I found out this when I continued shopping on Monday afternoon.)
Especially at the ladies' departments. In Zara and MNG, it was such a long queue to get into the fitting room....... and, all the attires on sales were mess up ( almost all were dump on the platform without assorted by different patterns, colors and sizes), so, if you found something you like, to get the right size is like you've hit the jackpot. You really got to depends on your luck since all is not properly assorted! haha...... ) Really tiring and a bit time consuming to shop in such a condition ler...... :)
And,before going out for dinner, we went to the car park thinking of wanted to keep some stuffs in the car first. However, we end up moving our car to another parking lot as we found out that the piping on top of our lot were leaking, and, the water same out from the pipe was smelly and dirty...... Oh Gosh! Can you believe it? Out of the whole car park that covered with all the pipes, the pipe on top of our lot is the one which leaks at that night........ We are so damp lucky, didn't we? :)

Memories in Italy
I only wrote about Milan and a little bit about Egypt before, as I have no time to do a long post. But, my actual plan is to blog all my trips. So, I would like to continue my story in Italy now. Italy was our (me and my hubby) first trip to Europe. And God! I love it! And, I still dream of Italy every now and then. I promised myself, I am coming back, Italy!
This Italy tour took about 8 days as far as I remembered. And, Milan was the first destination. The next day was Venice. Then,Rome. Then, Florence. Then, Vatican. In Rome, there is one particular place that I'll never forget. That's the Spanish market, Why is it so memorable? Cause I lost in that huge market place during the trip. And, getting more and more panic as the assemble time getting closer, yet, we still can't find the assemble location. Really afraid that I could not catch up with the group, and have to go back to the hotel, which is far away from town. ( The main question in my mind was, How much money I have to spend for Taxi this time? haha....)
The truth is I nearly cried out as most of the Italians don't speak English. So, How am I going to communicate with them? With a map? How about our stupid tour guide did not distribute any map for us? ( which was distributed in the other group ). It's really a mess at that moment. Finally, is really a blessing of God, when we saw the other bus (there were three buses for this big group tour) pass by and stop at the traffic light, when we were asking directions from a American Guy by the road side. So? We quickly run towards the bus, of course! And, yes, we were finally went back to the hotel safely with our group members. Sounds stupid, don't we? :) I swear to myself, I just won't let it happened again! (BTW, very nice place to shop as Prada, Gucci, Fendi is all over. Thus, Shop until I get lost! haha......)
Now, back to some great spots in Rome. There is this famous wishing fountain -- Trevi Fountain in this place. It's such a beautiful fountain. And, there were so many people throwing coins into this fountain just to make a wish. Of course I did it too. And, There is this legend saying whoever throws a coin into this fountain will return to Rome. I strongly believe I will be in Rome again. May it be God's will or my own will. hehe......
And, If you like Cantonese Movies, once upon a time there was this famous series from TVB featuring the stories of a group of pilots and stewardesses was shooting in Florence and took the Trevi Fountain as one of its scene too. Anyway, I really can't remember the English title of this series. But, I can still remember the storyline and the names of its main characters. This story is about a pilot called Kent who initially fall in love with Belle ( an air- stewardess) which he accidentally met in Italy, end up giving up this girl because of his best friend, Vincent, who is so deeply in love with Belle. So, Belle get married with Vincent finally.
However, She still miss Kent. So, this chicky lady got her punishment as she end up loosing her husband. After her Vincent died in an accident, then only she realised that she had lost a man that love her so much and she actually loves this man too. On the other hand, There is this girl called Zoe in this drama, who is much younger than Kent had fall for him. She is so kind and sweet even though she is terribly sick! (That's why I like Zoe the most). Of course, finally she recovered from her sickness and get married with Kent who finally admit that he did love Zoe despite their big age gap.
Hey! I have gone too far........ somebody stop me please! Anyway, Trevi fountain is so romantic to me. And, that Cantonese series also made a doll called "Triangel" famous. This is a doll looks like a clown with a 3 column hat. That's why it has the name of Triangel. It's from Italy too. Here comes another legend. This Triangel is suppose to be the doll of true love. Whoever own this doll will find their true love in this beautiful world. :)
So, it has became the main attraction of Italy for most of our local teenagers. We have seen a lot of it in Venice. One of my friend bought so many. He said this is something most of his girl friends ask him to buy after they get to know that he is going to Italy. But, I end up buying none, because the look was a bit scary for me. If I ever seen it late at night, for sure I can't even have a good night sleep anymore. Anyway, those Triangels are not the original. It's all from China. According to some of my friends, the original one, which is made in Italy would cost us more than RM100.Where as those that I saw is only about RM 15.
Venice -- the most romantic place in Italy for me. What I did when I was there? I took the Gondola Ride of course! This Gondola is just something slightly better than our Sampan in Malaysia lah. But, the interesting part is they got a singer to ride together with you in the Gondola and sing along throughout the whole ride.
And, if you are someone like me who loves classical singer like Luciano Pavarotti. This kind of Gondola ride will surely bring you high up to the sky..... having some fancy, fairy tales kind of dreams. BTW, I still remember the song during that ride. It's "La Donna E Mobile", one of my favorite song in "Voices".How about that? It's really something unforgettable for me! However, I wouldn't consider it romantic as we ride in a group, not by couple. too bad....... A bit disappointed. Next time in Venice, It's definitely going to be only me and my hubby in the Gondola! hehe............
No Triangel for me, thanks. But, I really... really...... crazy about the Venetian glass from Italy. This type of colorful decorative glass in all over Italy. You might get it in Milan for a higher price, So is advisable for you to get it in Venice. Much cheaper. This glass is fully hand made. It's colorful. Some are even Gold plated. All kinds of unique design. We had visited the factory and there was a demo during the visit. That particular demo had prove to me that no matter how expensive the Venetian glass cost, it's still worth its price! It's not a glass actually. It is an art. Every of the "Si Fu" who mould the glass is an artist themselves.
First, they will burn the glass, which initially just look like a stone in high temperature. So that it's soft enough to shape. Then, By using an iron clip, they managed to mould the glass into beautiful horses, fine vases, grand tea sets and so on... ( just anything that we can think of ) in just a few minutes time. How about that? Interesting isn't it? You really have to flu there and have a look. It's such a wonders!Very Creative, and it's so much more attractive compared to a drawing. If you see this...... Then, may be you will considered drawing is so easy. Yet, I can't draw! haha......... I am one of that fellow who draw a boat that everyone would say, it's a banana. :)
In Rome, We also visited the Collesseum. This is the shooting place of the famous Movie -- The Gladiator. I found it very satisfied as I get a chance to visit this Collesseum. To me, it's always very amazing to see all the huge architectures that were built many centuries ago. I think they are so brilliant! So, even though this Collesseum is so old, yet was partly damage, but I still think it is a nice building. :)
And, it is my first time of getting to know there is a small country within Rome called Vatican. It is separated from the rest of Rome only with a wall. This is a holy place for all the Catholic, I guess. This country has only about 1000 citizens. This is where the highest priest -- the Pope live. It is the smallest independent state in Europe. When we were there, there were so crowded. And, I remembered there were some rain drops on that day. So, is kind of fun to hang around the St. Peter Square under this rain shower. No, umbrella, please. The rain is just nice. Just enough for me to feel some drops. Not heavy at all. :)
What's nice in Vatican? Nice Church. What's bad? Very tight security. We actually asked to go through some weapon scan before we get into this small city. Huh? I really got no idea why they are doing this? Have you ever heard of people robbing the church? May be they are tracing terrorist.......
There is one more destination, Florence. It's a wonderful place. Lots of artist who scrap for tourist on the streets. And, many attractive buildings, things are cheap, full of handsome guys and beautiful girls, friendly environment , nice weather. To me, it's simply the best among other cities.
At last, Italy is definitely a heaven for shopping. Tons of nice dresses, nice shoes, nice bags..... It's also a very artistic and classic place. We will see beautiful statues and drawings everywhere in Italy. If you are someone like me, who favors Roman styles movies and find it's wearings and architectures very interesting, Then, you should at least pay one visit to Italy once in your life time.
There are restaurants playing live piano and live classical musics from fantastic singers. Our last night in Rome, we actually got a chance to dine in this type of restaurant. A very fine dining. Tiramisu and Gelatto (the Italian ice-cream) is something you must try! These are the things that made me feels Italy is so special, especially the ice-cream. Just imagine an orange flavour ice-cream that melts in your mouth with the original orange taste, so juicy, so craemy, rich but you'll certainly crave for more because of the original sour taste of the orange!Mmm....... Yummy!
I wish I could show you the beautiful vase that I bought from Venice. Unfortunately, It broke few months ago. And, I don't really buy things there cause things are quite expensive there. But, I feel regret! I should have buy more. Never mind, there is still next trip! :)
Now, all I can show you is the photos above that I had made it into a nice slide and, my favorite handbag that I bought in Milan. Check it out if you are interested.

TRANSFORMER
Here comes the Intruder -- The destroyer of our human race.
Here is the Guidance for Sam -- the man that holds the key for the survival of human race.
This is the protector -- which came to save us all when the war begins.
Hi, buddy! Feel so proud to introduce a good movie -- TRANSFORMER for you people. I think I've been lost contact with the cinema for more than a year. And, me and hubby actually are two crabs that crazy over movies. However, I feel really funny that I only wrote once Prime........". ( about movie. And, it's very annoying that we still haven't watch SPIDERMAN 3. Yet, almost everyday, since 2 weeks ago, hubby will surely mentioned things like "Transformer...... Megatron.......Optimus Prime.....haha.... (Any movie that attracts him, will make him talk about it day and night. Also, he collected all the movies that he favored, and watched it for more than 20 times) Believe it or not? It's true. Very true in deed! haha..........
So, this past Saturday, some friends and my brother already went for this in trend movie -- Transformer. And, all of them were giving us the same responses. What is it? " Wonderful! Very Good!" , so, if you were me, what are you going to do? Sure go for it , right? Just can't wait anymore. So, yesterday 9.30pm, I was in one of the theater in GSC watching TRANSFORMER.
What is my response after watching it? "Interesting!" It's such a great movie. It's such a movie that you don't feel like missing any part of it. And, it's worth for another watch. Mmm...... How am I going to describe it? "Funny! Very Funny!Lively! Very lively!Amazing graphic! Touching! Challenging! Interesting opening and satisfying ending!" In short, fun for mummy, interesting for daddy, amazing for kids......
Are these good enough to get you into the cinema? Wait... Wait...
Actually there are more. This new version of TRANSFORMER is very real compared to our kids time cartoon. And, I think this is the first of it's kind from the history that Robots become the real Heroes for man kind. Would you ever imagine a Robot saying something like " We cannot let the human pay for our mistake." How about that? It seems like we human are being protected by other species this time. Oh, is so sweet to be protected. hehe..... Touching!
These robots, which are called "Autobots" is split into two groups, Megatron and its group wants to destroy us; On the other hand, Optimus Prime and its group are our protector, our hero. Man kind learn to be stronger from these autobots; Autobots learn to be more passionate from us -- human. Finally, we accept, like and protect each other. Autobot choose to stay with human; human treats autobots more than just friends. Amazing!
TRANSFORMER , another super heroes for me. :)
