Penang Char Kuay Teow
Do you feel like eating "char kuay teow"? This time is not Yahoo. It is one of the hawker stall in New Lane, Penang. New Lane is a street that is full of hawker food at night. I think they start business around 5pm. There are two "char kuay teow" stalls at New Land. Both also at the left side, which is opposite to the open air area for seating.
Anyway, look at this yummy char kuay teow that I show you here is from the stall at the end of the whole row of these food stalls at New Land. You will see a small cafeteria on your left, at the end of the open air seating. This "char kuay teow" stall is opposite this cafeteria. Frankly, this is the first time I try this "char kuay teow", even though I already went there for so many times. I used to crazy over the BBQ chicken wings there. Unfortunately, I had decided to try some other things this time, so no picture for the delicious chicken wing. Sorry to disappoint you people, ya?
So... what is so special about this char kuay teow? Oh... This char kuay teow ... If you are someone who like char kuay teow with heavier taste (in fact most people like it this way), hot enough, got the heavy fried pork skin smell (mm.... I like this smell the most, char kuay teow without fried pork skin will never taste great, isn't it? hehe...) enough salt, and pepper too. This char kuay teow will not loose out compare with others in terms of taste. However, nothing special, isn't it?
Ha! How about 2 big fresh and sweet prawns, pieces of "lai liu ha" ( those big prawn that look like mentis), crab meat, lap cheong, egg.... Ha! I guess your eyes is already concentrating on the plate of char kuay teow that I show you on top now! haha.... I am still not full yet ler.... hehe....
However, the real attraction is..... This yummy licking good char keuy teow just cost you RM3.50. Damp cheap! Normally char kuay teow that are full of these delicious add ons will easily cost us RM5 in Penang.
So, what is my opinion? Cheap and Good, of course! hehe.....

Paying reasonable price for Top Ranking
Nowadays, I've learn step by step on how to make money online. Firstly, my sister in law thought me on how to monetize my blog by writing paid post and placing ads. Then, slowly I found out there are so many other ways to make money online such as operating an online store. However, there is a basic rule. Both of them need ranking to run successfully.
And, sometimes I feel I have not enough experience in blogging. Thus, It's such a tough job for me to boost the ranking of my blog. In fact, may be I should hire one of the top search engine marketing firm like USWeb to handle it for me. Then, just relax and see my ranking keep shooting to a higher level. :)
Anyway, if you already own an online store and need to rank at the top at Google search results. USWeb might be your solution as they promise to involve with every detail of your campaign. And you will always have direct access to their specialists at USWeb by just paying a very reasonable price.

Lucrative Rare Coins Investment
I found out another good investment at Monaco Rare Coin. If I have a lot of spare cash, may be I should consider buying a morgan dollar from Monaco Rare Coin and start collecting rare coins as a long term investment. To start learning on how to become a professional rare coin collectors, may be I should get a free trial subscription to “The Rare Coin Insider” for valuable insights on rare coins market.
In fact, it is not easy at all for people like me who practically knows nothing about rare coins want to make a lucrative return on it. Thus, I really have to rely on an expert like Monaco who is so in touch with the needs of the marketplace, and in constant contact with dealers across the country and around the world and definitely very familiar with rare coin market trends and developments. In this case, I will know when to trade or sell my rare coins to secure the highest possible returns for my investment.
Anyway, how I wish my great grandparents has left me a few pieces of rare coins, so that I can trade it at Monaco and get rich almost immediately.

Hi buddy! I got the same award for twice. I was awarded by Rinnah this time. I am glad that I had received this award twice. In fact, I feel so proud, really really proud this time. Why? Certainly not just because I was awarded by my dear friends. It simply because....
The originator of this blog award says,
"This award will be awarded to those that are just nice people , good blog friends and those that inspire good feelings and inspiration! Those that care about others that are there to lend support or those that are just a positive influence in our blogging world!"
See... I am such a nice friend. Now, anyone new here? Just want to tell you that you will never regret to make friends with such a nice lady like me! Hooray! hahahaha......

Family Night for Lantern Festival
Look! What are doing doing this Saturday night? I really appreciate that hubby took the initiative to organize a family night for us all. As everyone is at home this Saturday, and have nothing much to do... Hubby suddenly came out with an idea! A mini party of mooncake festival celebration for everyone in the house? Yeah.....Bingo!
Even though it's very simple and not pre plan, everyone seems enjoy it so much, including my harry (the dog). Everyone enjoyed drinking Chinese Tea and mooncakes. See... Ah Hwa even posting happily for me to snap of pic of hers. Harry likes mooncake too! Also, we fool around and talk too.
Besides, Daddy and Bill busy lighting up paper lanterns and hang it on the bush. Elizabeth enjoy playing with Harry, counting the lanterns and snails in the garden. Yeah... there are 6 snails and 6 lanterns in the garden last night, Aunties and Uncles!
So sorry that all the ladies in Pajamas do not wish to caught in a snap. hehe..... Anyway, It's been some time we never get that close together. I like family day! Hope there is more to come in the future. May be next time we can plan for a bigger crowd including my father and mother in law and shoppingmum's family! :)

"Paper" Lanterns for Mooncake Festival

These beautiful paper lanterns has bright up my night!
It's amazing isn't it? Such simple and cheap paper lanterns can look so beautiful after being light up! I always feel this type of paper lantern is so amazing when I was a little girl. It's simply unbelievable to see a candle burning in a thin layer of paper block. However, once we are not careful, the whole lantern will burn off. At that moment, I felt sad of course...
But at this moment, I miss those days so much when I was still a little girl carrying the lantern and go round the housing area with all my other little friends for the night of Chinese Mid Autumn ( the 15th day of the 8th month in Chinese Calender). It is also called harvest moon festival, which is corresponded with the lantern and mooncake festival.
Now is already the 11th day, the lantern festival is around the corner. Just another 4 days.... Hooray! I guess I am going to Malaysia 2007 International Lantern Festival in Penang (15th September -- 31st December) , since it is hosted in my state this time. Yet, it is the biggest lantern festival in Malaysia throughout the history. Thus, should not miss it. hehe.....
For those who is not going, I guess you still can enjoy my little paper lanterns here. hahahaha....
I am late for last week "Plastic" entry, so kindly check it out here. Thanks.

I like Whirlpool Refrigerators
Living in a country which only have summer all year long, I really could not afford to live without a refrigerator or air conditioner. In fact, even though there are two refrigerators in my house now, one big and one small, I still feel there are not enough storage space for all my food. This is because I have 8 people living under one roof including 7 adults and 1 baby. It seems that both of the refrigerators are always full. Also, the small one seems going to break down any time. Thus, I feel like replacing the small one with a bigger fridge.
I like Whirlpool Refrigerators showcase in Krillion. Most of them are the 2 doors big fridge that I always crave for. Now, I must earn more money from paid post to raise my saving in paypal account, and hope that I can buy one of this fridge as soon as possible.
Frankly, I always do product research online for most of my big ticket items. And, I found out that for people who live in the United States, Krillion specific search results is so convenient. You can straight away grab your keys, hop into the car, drive to the store and buy the product almost immediately after getting the thorough locality information pinpointing specific local stores with specific products consumers are looking for from Krillion. Besides, Krillion delivers search results for major appliances including refrigerators, ovens, ranges, washers and dryers, dishwashers, flat panel TVs, lawn and garden and seasonal appliances.

Her Eczema has Great Improvement
Looks like Elizabeth's bottom is getting better. Almost all of the rashes already disappear. Redness reduced by 90% already. Just a little red seen right now. Very good improvement indeed. Really satisfied with the result. :)
I think this is something worth recommending. I got this NUI Organic Virgin Coconut Oil from Just Life Organic Shop in Tanjong Bunga, Penang. There are a few Just Life in KL, one is in Ikano. However, I think other Organic VCO should have the same strength too. For those who can't get NUI, you can always try other brands, as long as it is VCO or better still Organic VCO.
However, according to the sales rep of Just Life, supposedly EPO (Evening Primrose Oil) is the oil for many skin problems, including eczema instead of VCO. However, I never try it before. Thus, I do not know how effective it is. But, you can always try, if you want to.
And, VCO can be consume daily too. I heard from a customer in Just Life that his friend has get back his dark hair after consuming VCO for a few months. And, there are many other benefits too. And, it can strengthen our babies' immune system. Somehow, I do not know how true it is as it is hard to prove. Anyway, according to the instruction, adult should take 1 or 2 teaspoon everyday. However, baby only need 1/4 teaspoon. So, even though it is not cheap, but I can assure you it can last you quite long. hehe....
For those who is interested to find out the whole story.... please scroll down and check out my previous post on VCO for Eczema.

Virgin Coconut Oil is Good for Eczema
Ever since Elizabeth get sick, I guess her immune system has gone low and yet to be recovered to the healthy stage. I am quite worried actually. But, I understand that it takes time to boost our immune system. Thus, I am now giving her more home cook porridge and less ready made biscuits and rice cereals that she used to love it.
Anyway, I just have to be more careful taking care of this allergy baby. Elizabeth has got eczema on her bottom for the past 3 days. Her rectum became so red and full of rashes that look like chicken pox. I am terribly upset. But, I tried to calm down. Try to apply Savlon Cream from Johnson & Johnson, which is quite effective on her mosquito bites. However, I am so disappointed, as after applying it for 2 days, I see no improvement at all.
But, seeing paediatrician would be my very last resort. I don't want my girl end up using any cream with steroids which is the common option for doctors to cure any skin disease. That will eventually leads to thinning of her skin and if any situation like this occur again in the future, she might need a stronger steroids as other milder medication won't work anymore. Thus, even though I am pretty worried last night, I still try to calm down and all of the sudden my maid suggest that I should try applying my coconut oil as last time it really works well for the rashes on her face. Yeah, that's right! How come I forget about it? See, that's why I need her so badly! hahaha......
How is the result? This morning when I woke up, the condition is much better. The redness has reduced so much ( about 70% I guess). And, some improvements seen for the rashes. It's shrinking. Fantastic, isn't it? I am truly amaze with the healing properties of this natural product -- NUI Organic Virgin Coconut Oil. It's free of harmful chemicals, yet still very effective. I just applied once, remember? Thus, I quickly share this with all of the mummies here. Hope this is another helpful tips for all of the allergy babies.
Anyway, I will keep applying and shall keep you people update with the progress. Let's see if it really helps to the extend of fully recover. :) Besides, even myself is taking VCO, why? Just check this out.

Resposive mailing list for online business
I do remember that I mentioned about wanted to open an online store. However, it's rather difficult to sustain the business or boost the business without any client at hand. To build a handful of worldwide clients is not an easy job. No matter what product we are selling, it's still going to be very competitive in this online market place. The time consumed to build the list of prospective buyers would eventually ruin my business, if I build it slowly on my own.
Luckily, there are lists brokers that allow us to subscribe to customized mailing list or telemarketing mailing list. So, If I feel puzzled on how to get mailing list, I can immediately contact Martin Worldwide, which is one of the largest and most successful mailing list provider that possesses a database of over 290 million consumers and 14 million U.S. businesses and is one of the only major list providers to guarantee its data integrity in writing.
Our online store could easily gain highly responsive buyers through Martin Worldwide's ResponseCom™. This is because ResponseCom™ has a powerful database that accurately identifies prospects with the most active, responsive, and impulsive buying history. In this case, building a profitable online business seems possible now.

Anglian Fabulous Home Improvements
I have always wanted a room with a glass roof and walls, attached to my house but definitely not for growing delicate plants. If I ever build a conservatory, it will be used as breakfast area. I want to make this extra area as lovely as possible with beautiful decorative glass windows or roof, flowers surrounding the room, adding a good sound system and some cosy rattan table and chairs.
Now, even a conservatory have so many different styles. As for me, I will certainly prefer The Regency style which looks elegant with simply glazed panels that provides clear, unimpeded views. In this case, I can have a perfectly comfortable area to enjoy my daily breakfast with full garden view. I think it's best to build it facing east as well, so that I can enjoy the morning sunshine while having my breakfast.
I think making home improvements like adding a conservatory to my home is worthwhile cause I just learn that a property with more rooms might be more appealing to prospective buyers. Thus, adding a beautiful conservatory is certainly not only for my own pleasure, but it's also a sound investment that will provide extra value to my property.

That's me after "plastic" surgery

I really feel so lazy for the last whole week. Yet, my Internet connection is quite bad these few days because of heavy rain. Thus, I finally decide to stop blogging for a few days, give myself a break and go for plastic surgery! hahaha.......
I guess most of my blog friends has seen my hubby's face in the blog. Thus, you people recognized him, right? See... he was so satisfied with my new look. That's from A to E, I think. Thus, look at him...Really get so excited when he feel the bump! hahahaha....
Not me? Leanne? Nope! That's me after plastic surgery. It's not possible to be other lady as If it is, I just won't announce it happily, won't me?
Don't believe me? Oh! You shouldn't actually. She is Leanne... "How do I live without you... I want to know... How do I live without you, if you ever go... How do I ever, ever survive.... How do I ... How do I... oh! How do I live..." I think I'll hardly convinced myself to go for plastic surgery as I really don't want to end up with so many repeated correction surgeries to fix the mistake. That's suffering! *ouch* hehe...
Then, how come daddy is ... Yeap! I am going kill him! Naughty, this guy! Anyway, I think some of you already knew it. If you haven't got it, please look closely, it's fake. That's a "plastic man" made of wax. haha! Got it now? hahahaha...... If this is the real Leanne, she just won't let my nobody husband touch her anyway! hehe....
I am so sorry that I miss the exact date to join the hunt because of connection problem. However, I still try my best to catch up with you people. Happy hunting, everybody! And, thank you so much for supporting this outdated post. I really appreciate it. :)

My friends, have you ever dream of open up your own shop selling the products or services that you are interested in? Once I start blogging, I found out that I can even own a shop and start selling my products or services without walking out of my house. Penang YAHOO
Haha.... Just want to share with you something. And, one question, is it good or bad?
Ladies and gentlemen, tada....
haha... what is this? Yahoo lah! hahaha.... What? Yahoo Fried Noodle(Tai Lok Mian and Hor farn) and Kuay Teow. Creative or not? hahaha....
See, I realized there are so many this type of "copy cat" in Penang. I rather this stall called itself "Ah Beng Char Kuay Teow" . At least sounds original. I think may be this folk thought that by using this name, his stall should be easily remembered and "highly recognized". No doubt, it is easily remembered.
However, if you ask me...
Once I saw this stall, yes! I will remember it of course. I even snap a pic of it from inside my car and place it in my blog. But, I am also sure that this is a new stall. In Penang, there are a lot of famous old stalls. Do you think people are willing to try out new stall just because of its "funny" name? The fact is, I don't even border to try... but, I am not that sceptical. One of these days... may be, just may be, I will try! And, This "Yahoo" is also taking the risk, as once it is no good, it will be easily remembered and highly recognized as well. hahaha.......
Yahoo! So, again... Is this good or bad? Anyway, don't know later got "Google Chicken Rice" or not, since Google has become more and more famous now. hahahaha......

New York Times Bestseller

Have you ever thought of writing a book? Frankly, ever since J. K. Rowling became famous, I started to believe that even a lady like you and me who always sitting in front of the computer blogging might have the talent to come out with a book and get rich when it is on the front shelve of every bookstore. Nothing is impossible, right?
However, finished writing a book might be far more easier than selling the book. I never start writing a book all this while just because I don't even know how to get to the publisher. Every time when I think of all the problems in marketing a book all by myself, it really demotivate me from start writing. It probably involve a lot of money and effort to market the book. Yet, we might end up selling less than 100 copies. However, I think all these problems will be easily solved by John Kremer .
John is credited by Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen (authors of Chicken soup of the soul) as the guiding light for their rise to bestseller status. Now, he has this teleseminar program that share with us step by step on the proven system on how to get our book from nowhere all the way to the top of the New York time best seller list. Which means, If I work hard to write a good book from now, this system will help me to be another rich and famous author like J.K. Rowling!Wonderful, isn't it?

Breaking Coconuts
What is this??? C-O-C-O-N-U-T. Yeah... Coconut. I'm really not a great photographer. Actually the whole pavement along this main road was flooded with coconut before the ceremony starts.
This is a back dated post. It is one of the scene from the 12 days long fire walking ceremony in my temple. Yeah! We break coconuts. Don't ask me why? Seriously, I don't really bother. All I know is.... every year... more and more coconuts were sponsored. And...fun! Breaking coconuts is really fun! And, you can see that my Hindu temple got a lot of Chinese followers. hehe......
Frankly, this event is the most happening one. Most of the young followers like me from the temple are very much enjoyed throwing those thousands of coconuts on the road and break them. It's whole lots of fun. Our friends were invited to this event and there are about hundred of us lining up on the street breaking coconuts, chatting and joking at the same time. Something like, "Everyone! Ready... get set... break! Again... Ready... Break!" "Oh, Yeah!" Fun? Anyone wanna join us next year? You're most welcome.
And , the fragrance of these coconut's water were still there till the next day when I went to the temple. Mmm..... sweet and fragrance!

"Dirty"

Look at this seaside... When it's high tide, this is a place with exotic sea view. A very famous tourist spot in Penang -- Gurney Drive. However, We'll still see this dirty mud appear once in a while when it's low tide.
Anyway, mud does look dirty, but its healing properties just make it isn't that dirty anymore. Some people enjoy mud bath, or mud Spa. why? They believed it is good for our skin. :)
So...... this is what I got for this week PhotoHunt -- "Dirty". Wanna try a mud bath? haha.....
