Have you been to the Korean franchised fast food restaurant called -- "BBQ Chicken" before? It's at the Gurney Place. And, there should be so many more throughout Malaysia and other parts of the world. It mainly specialized in barbecue chicken and fried chicken. Using olive oil to fried the chicken is one of its uniqueness.
Frankly, Kentucky is still my best choice for fried chicken. But, hubby, Bill and I all loves its barbecue chicken, especially the one which is sweet in taste. Yum! Yum! The hot one is somehow not our cup of tea. hehe...
It's in set. The single or double pieces of barbecue chicken will come with mash potato and coleslaw. If you ordered family set which is four to six pieces of barbecue chicken, then the coleslaw will be replaced with salad.
You have a choice of choosing rice or mash potato for any of the set. In my opinion, its potato is better than rice. However, pick the rice if you hate potato. :)
Oh! Living in a beautiful house such as the Wilmington real estate, and have delicious Barbecue Chicken with healthy salad by the seaside is absolutely what I always dream of. This could be the best retirement life for me. Now, it's by the seaside. There is also delicious barbecue chicken in my mouth. Still, it's just a restaurant not my house. :(

It seems I am still not familiar with the blogging world. I thought I met a lot of nice friends here (I did. And, thanks to all these good friends). Somehow, I get so mad this morning once I found out a copy cat of my blog.
I don't know weather is a he or she. Let's assumed it's a he. This useless copy cat actually copied the full text from some of my posts. He just switched the paragraphs without changing any words from my original post and expect it to be different. Can you imagine that? What a clever guy!
I was terribly annoyed. As most of the stories that being copied completely are the stories about my baby Elizabeth. And, this fellow even attached my girl's picture with the full story that I wrote about our family in his blog. It's just like he is stealing my identity, my daughter and my husband! Can you imagine? *What the F*
This is one of the good example:
I guess at that time, I am only about 10 months old.
Daddy, wish you have a safe journey and see you on Sunday night. Mummy is going to miss you!
Daddy has left. He went to “Poh Poh” house tonight, sleep there and straight away departing to Port Dickson by tomorrow morning. But before he leave, he bring me to seven eleven and buy me 5 packs of Yakult. I love Yakult!
Since the first time mummy bought me the first pack of Yakult, I straight away fall for it. That’s something irresistible! So yummy!
And, this is what happened for the second time I get Yakult?
This is what have been copied to his blog. He switched my last two paragraphs to become the first 2 paragraphs. And, He took one of my 3 pictures from this particular post. Anyone who read the post will assumed this is his girl, right? Elizabeth is my girl! Not his! Silly!
He really blowing me off! Fight Him! *Shouting*

Gold is grand
When I was in Hong Kong, I was pretty impressed with one of the restaurant's interior design. It is a mix of my favorite English Style and Modern Contemporary. It's grand, especially the entrance. I think it's the lightings and the gold that made the difference!
Now, I have a question here. What are the things within the design will make you feel grand?
Can it be the big pillars? The chandeliers? The displayed items? In my opinion, the pillars and the chandeliers certainly do count. Lightings is fairly important to influence the overall impression for any design too.
We should never missed out crystals or gold in the house, if we want it to be grand. That's the reason why there are crystal dining sets, tea sets or wine glasses in the palace. In fact, even the toilet bowl or bath tub in the palace were made in real gold. :)

My Shoes

Shoes? Oh! I actually fancy bags more than shoes. Most of the time I am wearing comfortable flats such as those from Rockport, Hush Puppies and Leecock. Good shoes is very important for me. Without comfortable shoes, my leg will suffer with pain and blisters.
However, there is this latest fashion for shoes that rocks the world! At least, it is something funny and interesting! I think it is a fantastic innovation! :)
Ladies and gentlemen, The latest shoes fashion. Black vs white, blue vs pink, orange vs brown... They are all in a pair. Left and right with different colors and design. Cool, right? hehe...
Last week, I made late entry for "Candy". Please have a look if you are interested with the traditional Candy from China. :)

Lighting in the house
I am supposed to buy bulb today. But, I forgot. My room's down light just blow off yesterday. Since there is no more warm light bulb at home, I am forced to use the white light. Frankly, I don't really like white light. And, I especially can't stand the brightness of the white light in my room now. That's the consequences of being forgetful! :(
In my opinion, warm light is more suitable for home sweet home. It's more comfortable for the eyes. And, it's calming for our overall emotion. And, down light is simple and neat. It is suitable for the bedrooms or study room. But, you should choose other indoor lighting such as chandelier for your grand dining or living areas.
Frankly, I will placed this chandelier in the dining area if it has higher ceiling. I like Classical English style. And, I really have the heart for this dainty and elegant venetian art of chandelier.

I pray
Today is cool! Sorry. Nothing Special. I mean the weather is quite cold cause it's rainy heavily in Penang. Almost half of the day. "It's rainy day, Hallelujah! It's rainy day, Hallelujah!", remembered this song?
Oh!Why are you so excited about the rain? Crazy Everyday Healy. "Siao Cha Boh"! Of course I am. It's been so hot these days. That's why I tried milk bath and keep on soaking myself in the tub. At least I get cool down for half an hour when I am in it. LOL!
I prayed for the rain. And, it's answered. Thank God. But, I never prayed for drain block! *Shock* (Just kidding! Forgive me, God! hahaha... What a coward!)
Now, I pray for the happiness of the victims of the disasters happened in Myanmar and China. God, give them strength to carry on their lives bravely and finally find them their happiness again. :(

I like San Diego
I guess many countries is trying to promote tourism online now, including Malaysia. However, as Chinese always said :" The moon in other countries seems rounder". It simple means we will always admired and interested in other parts of the world compared to our own land. :)
Frankly, I have regretted not to follow my hubby to America last time. Somehow, I always consoled myself that New Orlean ( The place which hubby visited in US) has never been in my dream before. hehe......
When I dream of traveling in the US, I dream of Las Vegas, New York, Hollywood and San Diego. These are the places I must go when I have the chance to visit the US. Anyway, I should learn more through San Diego dining guide.
I loves food. I want to visit all the good San Diego Restaurants. In this case, I don't think I have enough to settle the bills. May be It's possible if I managed to grab the San Diego restaurants coupons.

Stock Options
Recently, there is big crash in Malaysia Shares Market because of political changes. I think many investors are still watching our political situation. I believe as soon as we gain our political stability, all the investors will bring back their investment capital.
Basically, all kinds of news will influence the share price. For example, even the recent natural disasters that caused many death in the world will affects the share price of the affected areas too. Also, the overall share price is always influenced by world or local economy situation.
But, mostly we will assess a company share price based on its performance. We will watch the company news closely and read through all the related annual reports. Anyway, I believe many people buy shares according to press recommendation now.
PowerOptions® is the only internet-based data provider that gives investors SmartSearchXL®, a patented decision support technology that identifies the highest return stock options.

I miss Thai Food
Yesterday's buffet dinner was too rich, especially the desserts. I loves desserts. Thus, I took cheese cake, pancake, Tiramisu mousse, Bomb Alaska and ice cream. That's so rich! Ultimately, I even feel like vomiting when I saw my girl drinking milk in the car. LOL!
Now, I miss Tom Yam, sweet chilli chicken with cashews, sweet and sour steam fish, Karabu, Keng Som and all the other Hot and Spicy Thai food. However, it's raining now. May be i's time to cook on my own. After all, I have spare Thai Food recipes at home.
This recipes book is all about Thai Cooking. It even includes the recipes for red, green and massaman curry paste. Wonderful! :)

Happy Wesak Day
Today it's a Public Holiday for all the Malaysian. It's Wesak Day! Wesak Day marks the three momentous events in Buddha's life -- his birthday, enlightenment and achievement of Nirvana. Thus, it's a big day for all Buddhist.
In fact, many religions will have different important celebration this particular holy day, including Hinduism. So, I will be in the temple later tonight. And if we enter Bangkok now, we will see everyone pouring water on each other even on the road. That's how they celebrates this holy day.
In Penang, most people will visit the Buddhist temple and pray on the night before Wesak Day. We will pray, follow the parade, floating the paper boats and light candles in occasion of celebrating Wesak Day.

Read Local Magazines
I like to share some books or magazines here sometimes. In my opinion, reading is good for everyone. When we read, we learn. However, I am curious that what types of books or magazines that you prefer to read?
The topics for magazines and books nowadays are very wide. And, not necessarily ladies must be interested in fashion magazines and vice versus. As for me, I don't subscribe to any fashion magazines. I will only flip them through in the hair salon while I am enjoying my hair wash. hehe......
Somehow, I will buy magazines on Interior designs and money management. I prefer imported Home Improvement Magazines. But, I will buy only local money management magazines. In fact, we should know more about our own place. As that's where we live and work.
We should look for great local magazines that includes almost everything at that particular place such as Denver magazine. With a Denver magazine at hand, everything in Denver will seems in your fingertips. :)

Where's my camera
Pictures makes a great different in our blogs. Our blog needs pictures to make it more attractive and interesting. As a good blogger, we should always stand by a good camera with us whenever we go.
Somehow, I realized I am not professional blogger. As I always left my camera at home these days. So forgetful! I loves to have pictures in my blogs. As much as possible. Plain writing is too dull. In fact, there will be useless to talk about food if we don't have a picture to show.
I just want to say sorry that I forget to bring my camera along to yesterday's buffet dinner. So, it seems I have nothing to show and nothing to tell about the buffet. :(

Let's take Buffet
Yesterday, our dinner is again the yum yum curry mee that we always missed. Somehow, hubby took only the "Chu Hong", weird aye? He loves it like nothing. I like it. LOL! Sounds so matching. Not really... He don't take Korean food. But, I quite like it. :(
Anyway, tomorrow is public holiday. Thus, everyone in the house are still in holiday mood even though it's Sunday night. I miss good food. We all miss good food. Thus, we are going for buffet dinner tonight. Mmm... I miss the lamb, the marinated octopus, the satay, especially the pan cake.
So, no more ordinary home cook today. Let's enjoy buffet! hehe...

Collective Items
Do you have a collection of anything? Basically, we can collect anything as a hobby. For example, I like to collect coins. I used to collect stamps too. My brother used to collect cards from a game. One of my cousin sister like to collect watches. And, there are people who collect plants, mostly "Bonsai".
Hubby likes anything related to horse such as horse paintings, horse sculptures, horse crystals and so on. Frankly, I like to collect Swasrovski crystals too. Somehow, it's quite an expensive hobby and I need a nice display cabinet to display all of them. Obviously, I can't do it now as baby Elizabeth will destroy them all. LOL!
Anyway, there are other interesting collective items that you can easily find them online. Especially if you are a model cars collector. Don't worry if you only like airplanes. The are websites selling model airplanes. There is even website specially featuring Vintage Model Airplanes.

The Red Candy

This week I nearly have no time to join the fun of photo hunting as I am having allergy problem. Yesterday, I am busy picking up family members from the airport and bus stop which were both far away from where I live. But, since I have ready photo for this week's theme, I decided to join in the last minute.
So, this week is about "Candy". Most of the candy are colorful. And, I have a picture of the "red candy" which is famous in China. Candies are mostly sweet in taste. But, this "red candy" is sweet only at the outer layer. So, when you just lick it, it's sweet. Once you bite it, you will immediate taste something very sour.
It's called "Ping Tang Hu Lu" in Mandarin. Everyone can made this type of candy. It's easy. Just dip the fruits into fully melt rock sugar. Then, leave it frozen in the freezer. The traditional red fruit is common seen in China. That's "San Cha". But, I can hardly find it else where. So, we can replace the "San Cha" with orange, strawberry, green apple or any other sour fruits. :)
Anyway, the photo that I showed you on top is only the picture of the models of "Ping Tang Hu Lu". It's fake. hahaha...

Causes of Hives
The hives on my left leg is minimizing. The itchiness is so much lesser too. I appreciate that. It's the itchiness that irritates me actually. Somehow, I am yet to find out the real cause of this sudden and minor allergic reaction.
Could it be too much of raw seafood? As it's always Sashimi on recent weekends. I am suspicious as I have the experience of seafood allergy. But, commonly seafood allergy has immediate reaction. I don't think that applies to this time condition.
Also, I believe my experience of seafood allergy is caused by contaminated seafood. Normally, I don't have any problem with seafood. And this time, It could be other reasons such as heat, insect bite or sting.
Basically, hives are a result of an allergic reaction to just about anything. It can be chocolate, strawberry or many other food including seafood. But, it can also caused by sunlight, medicine, insect bite or sting, heat and more.
Anyway, I experienced minor breathing problem during the first night. There are also symptoms of stomachaches and muddy waste for the past whole week. But, they are all minor.

Travel with Air Plane
I have never been to the United States. Hubby had been there once. He stopped at New Orleans -- the largest city in Louisiana. And, he quite like this place. He said New Orleans is famous for its night life and Casino.
We would have plan for a US trip long ago if the United States is just a little bit closer to Malaysia. Frankly, it ain't easy to be in the air plane for more than 20 hours. Especially we are traveling in the economy class.
I always suffer air way blockage of the ears, numbness of my legs, headaches or lost of appetites while I am on the plane. And, I certainly can't sleep well. Sometimes, I am also constipated. Luckily, I never vomit.
That's the trouble of traveling long journey with air plane. Anyway, I think I will straight away fly to Las Vegas when I am planning for a US trip. Las Vegas vacations is so popular. Thus, I believe there is so much fun! :)

Server problem
Blogging can be terribly frustrating sometimes. For example, I am keen to blog now. However, the server for my 2 other domains is down at the moment. Obviously, I am so mad.
I hate this situation like nothing else. Luckily, it's rare for this server that i am using. On the other hand, one of my blogger friend had lost part of the data in her site due to server problem recently. *Slap my forehead* I guess she is certainly more frustrated than me.
I think most servers have this problem. Somehow, I believe we will face less of this problem if we found a good server. So, be careful in choosing the choosing the server.

Movie or Book

The movie -- "Iron Man" is going to be in the cinema soon. I am interested. In fact, there is book for this movie. I realized many still interested in books rather than movies. As books are more detail and they actually give us a chance to let our imagination run wild. Thus, it can turned out to be extremely interesting compared to movies.
As for me, I prefer movies. Somehow, I like to read. But, not fiction or story books. I like those informative type such as cook books, health and beauty magazines, self help, motivation, business or investment printed materials. I strongly agreed that reading is a good pass time. :)

It's terribly Itchy
Since yesterday, there were some hives appear on my leg. They are all on the left leg. It's allergic reaction again. But, I am still trying hard to figure out what actually caused this allergic reaction?
:(
Anyway, today it's the 2nd day. It's enlarging. It's killing me as it's terribly itchy. However, I still do not go to the doctor. As I am applying the Savlon Cream and another cream which I don't even know the name. This particular cream actually belongs to my mum. she get it from a skin specialist some time ago, when she had allergic problem on the face.
I think the condition is improving. Hopefully it can recover and back to normal as soon as possible. I can't stand the itchiness anymore! :(

Unique Father's Day Gift
Hubby is a basketball player. However, he was just a school player last time. And, playing basket ball has become one of his past time now. Anyway, It's been some time I never see him playing basketball. He is too busy with his work.
Even though hubby don't play basketball now, but he is still watching NBA games. He always prefer someone to watch together with him. I will do that. Slowly, I quite like the games too. All the players seems quick and sharp. Very talented! All the passing and shooting styles even made the games so attractive. :)
I am thinking may be the premium Miami Heat tickets are the best father's day gift for many fathers including hubby. I am sure all the basketball fans will precious it!

He missed the plain
Hubby was away since yesterday, I fetch him to the airport and came back on my own. And, I am supposed to pick him up from the airport again today on 11.40 am. However, before I drive out from the house, the phone rang!
"Bad news! I miss the plain, dear!"
"Pick me up only at 8. 15 pm tonight."
This is the first time daddy missed the plain. It's Air Asia. All the passengers should check it 45 minutes before the departure time. He told me he was twice in the toilet. Stomachache. Food poisoning again? That's daddy! Poor thing!
So by the time he came out, it is only 20 minutes away from departure time. Sorry, Sir. You are not allowed to check in anymore. So next time we should check in first, then only take our time in the toilet if the same situation happened!LOL!
So be it. I can only meet hubby tonight. Miss him! :)

We need them at home
I think decorating a house with beautiful flowers, chairs and tables is so much easier than maintaining a house such as changing toilet seat, schlage, bulbs or sealing broken pipes. And, my back door schlage has break down few weeks ago. That's bad news!
Eventually, the new one was up few days ago. Somehow, you will see a straight line thin hole at the left side of the schlage. That's because we can't find any which is exactly like the old one. So, there is a slight difference in size between the original mold and the new schlage. :(
This new set of schlage even came with the wrong screws. So, I even use my own screws. Thus, we should always spare some screws, nails, or washers at home. They are all useful tools.
Also, basically all the fixing jobs need hand tools. So, make sure you have them too. And, you can certainly find cheap and good home improvement tools at home.

What an experience
I am going out to settle my credit card payment today. If you know me well, then you might feel surprise that how come I am using credit card now. Nope! I still don't. I just used it to verified the Paypal account.
Anyway, the surcharge is about RM 6+. So, when the statement came, I sent a check to the KL quarter paying the exact amount stated. I thought that's the end of the story. However, I received anther statement few weeks later.
What's up? I thought It was fully paid. Another RM 0.50? Why? That's terribly frustrating! I don't feel like sending a check again. As I think the RM0.50 was actually the service charge for check transaction. :(
Somehow, I reached the doorstep of the bank at 4pm yesterday. It just closed! So be it! What a terrible first time experience on paying credit card. It strongly assures me that my decision of not using this plastic money is right! LOL!
I will make sure I reach the bank before 3pm today. And, settle this hustle once and for all! No more "to be continue". hahaha...

Choice of Father's Day Gift

My watch was with me since few years back. It's a gift from my mum. Thus, I precious it. I like watches. I think most men precious watch too. Hubby's like leather straps. And, he is still very happy with his Folli Follie, which he bought in Greece about 2 years ago.
Watch might be a fantastic Father's Day gift. As almost every man wear a watch on their hand whenever they are out, especially when they go to work. Mother's Day has gone with the wind. Soon, there comes Father's Day. It is just around the corner. Do you have anything in mind specially for your father? Have you ever thought of buying a watch for your father?
Even though I am just wearing a Swatch now, I will prefer fine watches such as Piaget, Rolex, or Longines, if that's a gift for father. Of course, the finest patek philippe watch will be my choice of gift, if I have the budget. As Patek Philippe is the leading fine watch maker now.
In fact, you will be impressed with the patek philippe creation like me if you like pocket watches. It has the most classic, luxury, and elegant pocket watch.

My precious gift

First, I am glad TN had found her Zoey. As our pet is just like our baby.
In this special season, It's all about mummy. I am still considered new in being a mother. Somehow, I am truly glad to be the mother of my little Elizabeth.
She is the most precious gift in my lifetime. That's the real gift for a mother. She makes me strong, happy and satisfied since the moment she was born. And, all the upsets, worries and frustrations are nothing compared to the happiness given. After all, I am entitled to celebrate mother's day now all because of my baby.
I just want to say: "Thank you, my dear!" You really made mummy feels so complete. And, "I love you, baby". Forever! :)
On the other hand, thanks to my mom. Your are my lifetime guarding angel. You gave me life. In your life time, you never stop watching me, care for me. That's too much of love. A favor that almost impossible to return. I just want you to know that...
"I will always be at your side, loving you, care for you, and very much willing to be your guarding angel too!"
I love you, Mum! Happy Mother's Day! :)

Blinds and Shades

Nowadays most new houses are using the new invention of blinds and shades for their windows and glass doors. Currently there are 2 big pieces of bamboo shades at my wet kitchen. It's torturing to cook in a hot and extremely bright environment. Thus, I need it badly to block the irritating evening sunlight.
We can place bamboo shades in our house too. There are 3 types of bamboo shades now including grasses shades, stick or wood blinds and the old straight bamboo shades.
Somehow, roller shades is the current trend. There are many designer roller shades for us to choose if we shop online. You can even use remote controlled shades just like the fans if you are looking for a more convenient option.
In terms of materials, I prefer sheer light-filtering blinds. In fact, this is a very popular choice for sliders. I like this material so much as it offer a softer look of a sheer drape. Besides, this invention gives us only 60 to 80% filtration of the light. Thus, it is very suitable for people like me who hates 100% blackout.
We can even find window blinds for the arched windows now.

Dicey Business
I know I shouldn't blog less these days. Somehow, I think it's time to give myself a break from blogging non stop. Again, there comes the mood of watching drama series. Strangely, my mind is so blank recently.
In fact, I became very sleepy. And, I only feel like watching TV. Of course, I still blog. But, only 1 or 2 posts in one time. I am fine with this trend. As it happened before. Sometimes, the blogging urge will be boosting again, after I have been satisfied with some other activities. :P
So, it's time for Dicey Business. I am interested in this Hong Kong Drama Series that just started published in the Astro "Wah Lai Toi", every Monday to Friday from 8 to 9 pm. The story is about a group of gamblers.
There are famous actors and actresses in this drama including Bobby Au Yeung, Micheal Miu, Jessica Hsuan and Bosco Wong. The first few episodes seems funny! Seducing! Mysterious! So, must follow! hehe...

So many weddings
It seems that hubby has received so many wedding invitations this month. Most of them are from his customers. Frankly, we are glad to see our friends or family members get married as it means there is a chance for them to finally live happily ever after. :P
However, not too many in a month. Seriously, I am sure everyone of us will feel the pinch of the "Ang Pou" money, when there are too many invitations in a month. *OUCH* hehehe...
Somehow, it is certainly something to celebrate. Thus, we should enjoy the beautiful lightings, balloons, wedding flowers and delicious food upon the dinner. Even the "Ang Pau" should be unique!
That's how we celebrate this wonderful once in a lifetime occasion together happily.

Only 2 in Genting
Yesterday about 5 am, I just came back from Genting Highlands. Initially, hubby was invited for a talk there by his company on the 3rd. So, hubby and I plan to bring along our baby Elizabeth too. However, this plan failed.
Hubby was too busy. Thus, he had no time to prepare the presentation. He has no choice but to reject the invitation. Finally, we thought of going on the 10th just for a short vacation. Somehow, daddy suddenly feel that he need a break last Friday (may be too busy).
So, Hubby and I reached Genting Highlands around 6 pm on the 3rd. Again, I am glad we had some private time for 2. We ate, shopped a little, walked along and enjoyed the cold breeze together. That's simple but still happy. Of course, there are times we sat in front of the slot machines. Watching the paper notes being sucked into it and not coming back anymore. That's hurtful! Hahaha...
